St Ben’s triumph over St David’s

Chadwick Broadbent for the first team.

St Benedict’s basketball season started on a high note recently with a fixture against St David’s.

The two schools faced off in eight games, with St Benedict’s winning six and losing just two.

The under 16A team continued to shine as the players were able to utilise their advantages and score efficiently giving them a 30 – 20 win.

The first team had a slightly tighter game with a number of rebounds, steals and turnover balls but the team always appeared to be in control of their match and were the eventual winners with a score of 31 – 24.
