Learners raise their voices against modern slavery

Matric learners from Holy Rosary School hold up the posters which they made for their march against modern day slavery.

Holy Rosary School learners took to the streets of Elma Park on March 14 in protest against modern day slavery.

The learners took park in the international initiative #myfreedomday.

Patricia Zongololo, head girl of the school said the march was organised by the student committee to create awareness about modern day slavery.

“A lot of people talk about making a difference so this march was to put their words into action,” said Patricia.
