Reddam sleep out brings donations in

Reddam School SleepOut ambassador Jessica Powell, with beneficiaries Anne Ebrahim from Angel's Baby Sanctuary and Jay Strydom from Refilwe Community Project.

Reddam House Bedfordview held its School SleepOut on June 15.

The event saw learners, parents and teachers spending a night outdoors on the school grounds.

Items collected for beneficiaries included nappies, baby wipes and food for the children’s homes, Angel’s Baby Sanctuary and Refilwe Community Project.

The learners also spent time talking about what it means to be homeless and thinking up solutions to the problem.
