Tummy’s filled on Mandela Day

At the back are Lehumo Menu, Nombuso Mathabela, Divishka Kassie and Orifha Mukhwamalau. In front are Sabrina Reynolds, Ashleigh Thirwell and Nicola McDonald.

In the spirit of Nelson Mandela’s birthday, July 18, it has become a tradition for Holy Rosary Primary School to make sandwiches for the Khanyisa Soup Kitchen.

Each class was allocated a day on which to make the sandwiches.

Sandwiches were then delivered with a chocolate and a card wishing the recipient a “Happy Mandela Day”.
