The pupils visited historic sites and landmarks, including the parliament and presidential buildings, Syntagma Square, the Panathenaic Stadium and the Acropolis of Athens.
She also received an achievement award for 10 years of loyal contribution and participation in the South African Performing Arts.
Holy Rosary School recently received the cross from St Benedict’s College, as part of a pilgrimage with the aim of uniting the youth in South Africa. The pilgrimage will involve a number of Catholic schools’ Grade 11 learners and will end with a meeting of the learners from the schools at the Johannesburg Cathedral.
This year, the schools’ Rosary House won the title of Best Play, for “Sunday Costs Five Pesos” by Josephina Niggli
The dinner was prepared by the hospitality centre at the school and served by some of the students.
Hannah was selected for the South African National Youth Squad at the same gala.

In an attempt to change this culture, St Benedict’s Colleg introduced a reading club at its prep school.
Both boys were awarded Gauteng swimming colours and will represent Gauteng at the SA Schools Championships.
