Thirty-minute meals: pesto chicken and pasta

Ready in 30 minutes, this dish is a flavourful week-night favourite.

You will need:
* One tablespoon oil.
* 500g boneless skinless chicken breasts, sliced.
* One clove garlic, minced.
* One large red pepper, cut into thin strips.
* A quarter cup basil pesto sauce.
* One lemon, cut in half, divided.
* One cup grated cheddar cheese.
* Two cups hot cooked angel hair pasta.

What to do:

Heat oil in a large non-stick pan on a medium heat. Add the chicken and garlic; cook and stir for four to five minutes or until chicken is evenly browned. Add peppers; cook three to four minutes or until chicken is done, stirring frequently.
Stir in pasta sauce and juice from one lemon half; top with cheese. Cover; cook on low heat for two to three minutes or until cheese is melted. Spoon over pasta.
Serve with remaining lemon half, cut into wedges.
