Photo Gallery: Edenvale and Bedfordview communities come together to support #Knysna

Nic Bruchhausen a local community member and one of the individuals who helped make the donation drive for the Knysna relief efforts possible.

With the support and help of Bedfordview and Edenvale NEWS, Nic Bruchhausen’s urgent plea on Thursday morning for donations for those affected by the Knysna fires resulted in the collection and transport of eight tons of donated goods by Friday afternoon by Cargoworks. Nic left for Knysna from the NEWS’ office on Friday with some of the most needed supplies.

UPDATE: The NEWS received word from Bruchhausen, a former Edenvale firefighter, at 2.30am on Saturday. He arrived in Knysna and was immediately deployed to assist with fires.
