Lions beat Eagles in semi-finals

AngloGold Ashanti Lions beat the Diesel Electric Services Eagles, 54-49 in the semi-finals of the SuperSport Wheelchair Basketball Series.

The game was played at the Mandeville Indoor Sports Centre on September 2.

Despite a great performance by Daniel Nyuke from Eagles, it was not enough to bag a win for his team.

The Lions were struggling in the first and second period but recovered at the third and last period coming out victorious.

Richard Nortje punished the Eagles by collecting every point from the fouls they made.
