The body of a woman was discovered by police at a complex on Van Buuren Avenue in Bedfordview on October 29 after an alleged domestic dispute.

Bedfordview SAPS spokesperson Captain Andre de Jager said the her body was found after police had received a call from the security company about a domestic dispute.
“The residents alerted the security about a squabble that was going on in one of the apartments in the complex. Upon arrival, security officers discovered the body of the woman. Her partner allegedly beat her up and left her for dead,” said de Jager.

“Her partner is still on the run and a murder docket has been opened. Police are still investigating,” said de Jager.
