14th annual karate tournament held at Mandeville

SA Kenshikai Karate hosted the 14th annual Shuseki Shihan William Oliver Memorial Challenge Tournament at Mandeville Indoor Sports Centre on November 4.

Instructor for SA Kenshikai Karate, Shaun Burgess, said, “We host this tournament in honour of our head instructor Shihan William Oliver, who died 14 years ago.”

Clubs which participated in the event were Kibler Park, Townsview, Bedfordview, Mondeor, Brackenhurst and pre-schools in Bez Valley and surrounds.

Winners were awarded medals and trophies.
