28 000 raised for animals in need

Community members out and about in support of Charlie's Charity Christmas Market held on December 2.

Charlie’s Charity Christmas Market, hosted by Tails and Whiskers in Edenvale, raised over R28 000 to help animals.

Sharon Blackwell, of the charity shop, said the community’s support was fantastic.

The market was held to honour animals who had died and left their owners broken-hearted. Children at the market were delighted to meet Santa Claus.

Beneficiaries of the Tails and Whiskers charity shop spend some time with Santa Claus at Charlie’s Christmas market.

Some of the youngsters at the market spend some time with Santa Claus.
