Greenstone Market fun

Market-goers of all ages recently flocked to the Greenstone Market which was held at the Greenstone Shopping Centre.

On June 24 at entrance one of the shopping centre, community members were given the opportunity to browse various stalls and interact with entrepreneurs.

Dawn Bruchhausen, organiser of the Greenstone Market stands by some of the stalls.

Dawn Bruchhausen, organiser of the event, said the market is growing each month and is attracting new vendors and customers.

“Last year we started with 20 stalls. We now have 40 stalls,” said Dawn.

Eight-year-old entrepreneur Callum Bruchhausen said he was excited to be at the event.

Callum, who sells plants, flowers and lemons, said he decided to get involved to try to make some money.

The next Greenstone Market will be held at the end of July at the same venue.

It will be held in the evening and will be themed Christmas in July.
