Edenvale High learner represents SA internationally

Edenvale High School learner Clayton Malaza dressed in his team tracksuit while he was taking part in the Soncini Games in Italy.

Edenvale High School learner Clayton Malaza’s 2017/8 season has started on a high note after he was selected for the Swim South Africa training squad.

Malaza was selected for the squad after he recently represented the Aquatics Gauteng team at the Soncini Games in Italy.

He was one of 200 athletes from South Africa who took part in the event.

“Clayton was highly praised on his exemplary behaviour, sportsmanship and interaction with the team at the games,” said Eastern Gauteng president Cheryl Knight in a letter to Malaza’s mother.

In previous years Malaza represented South Africa in Mozambique and South Africa.
