The school collected ample amounts of clothing and still are collecting, after teaming up with the ‘Clothes to Cash Exchange’ (C2CX) for the ‘Clothes To Good’ programme.
This workshop formed part of a week-long LIFE programme at the school.
This was in collaboration with Sisonke Nathi, a non-profit organisation working with the homeless and destitute, as well as abandoned and abused women and children.
The games had more than 300 choirs and over 16 000 choristers from 60 different countries participating.
The dance competition formed part of the school’s life orientation and physical education syllabus.
During their visit, the two schools shared their culture at a special assembly.
The meals will be donated to early childhood development centres.
The tinned food has been donated to St Margaret’s Anglican church in Bedfordview and will be included with their food parcels.
